- [Suzuki Memorial Teacher Development Grant](https://suzukimusicutah.org/suzuki-memorial-teacher-development-grant/): In 1998, the SAU Board established an annual teacher development grant in honor of Dr. Suzuki’s life and work. This grant aims to provide members with the opportunity to attend either the SAA Teachers Convention or the SAA Teacher Development Retreat. Student must be currently enrolled in lessons with an SAU Teacher member. Terms of Scholarship: Awards will be up to $200 toward fees for any SAA Approved Institute held Summer of 2025. - [Dr. Shinichi Suzuki](https://suzukimusicutah.org/dr-shinichi-suzuki/): Shinichi Suzuki was born in Nagoya, Japan in 1898. He was the son of the founder of the largest violin factory in the world. At the age of seventeen he began to play the violin, and later studied in Tokyo. In 1920 he went to Berlin, Germany, to study violin with Karl Klingler for eight years. - [About SAU](https://suzukimusicutah.org/about-sau/): The beginning of SAU In the early 1970s, The Suzuki Education Program introduced the Suzuki Association of Utah (SAU) to Utah. Steven Goodman, a Suzuki educator in Provo, Utah, started the Goodman School of Music, which has since disbanded. On July 14, 1977, they organized the Utah Talent Education Guild to help Utah Suzuki teachers grow in Talent Education, encourage private teaching, and build their individual Suzuki studios. - [Emeritus Membership](https://suzukimusicutah.org/product/emeritus-membership/): This membership option is available for retired Suzuki Teachers who’d still like to stay involved with the Suzuki community. This is a reduced benefit membership. Teachers will receive the e-newsletters and be eligible for membership prices at SAU events. Must be able to show 10+ years of membership in the SAU and not have an active studio.
- [Associate Membership](https://suzukimusicutah.org/product/associate-membership/): Discontinued for a time, the Associate Membership is for teachers new to SAU. This Membership can be purchased by anyone currently studying at a university OR who is working on their foundational Suzuki training (ECC or Units 1-3). May be purchased up to 3 years. Must be able to show enrollment in college or SAA training courses within the year of registration.

Each family registration comes with two complimentary tickets to a Celebration Concert. Celebration XI Student Registration is also available for $20. Student Registrations cover the participation fees of one student in an immediate family and includes ONE complimentary concert ticket.
