VIOLA GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

Graduation is the celebration and culmination of all the effort expended in mastery of the entire repertoire contained in a Suzuki Book. Students submitting graduation videos must have learned and memorized the entire repertoire of the book from which they wish to graduate.

Graduation videos should be uploaded as “unlisted” videos on YouTube, and will not be available for public view (unless the student wants their video view-able by the public). To do this properly you will want to submit the video as an “unlisted” video on YouTube (instructions follow). YouTube will then provide you with a link for your video which should be emailed to Tally Turner for adjudication by our Viola Graduation committee.

  • The student should fill the frame as much as possible.
Piano accompaniment is strongly encouraged but not required for Twinkles-Book 7. Books 8-9 graduation submissions require accompaniment.
  • The student does not need to give their name or announce their piece.
