About Teacher

Ana Bunce teaches violin lessons from her home in Salt Lake City near 15th South & 15th East. Ms. Bunce discovered the beauty of learning through the Suzuki method as a child and graduated from all levels as an early teen. She went on to study with Karen Child, Jack Ashton, Ralph Matson and David Park of the Utah Symphony. While she graduated with a degree in Architecture from Arizona State University, her love for the violin never ceased. She has played professionally for many years as a freelance violinist and with the West Valley Symphony in Phoenix, Symphony of the Southwest in Mesa, the Ash String Quartet and many other groups. ?Ms. Ana�s natural teaching style is positive and deliberate. She adjusts to different learning styles and backgrounds, hoping to build a love for music and refined playing. Lessons are tailored to help students excel and to meet specific goals. As the Music Specialist at Montessori Community School to 160 students ages 3 - 12, Ana has learned how to teach many ages with varying abilities. Ana loves the great outdoors. Rafting, telemark skiing, rock climbing and mountain biking are her favorites!
