I began learning the violin at the age of 3, and after a few years also wanted to take lessons on the viola. I was raised in a large Suzuki trained musical family. We have a family quartet, "The Miner Strings", which I've performed in since I was 8 years old. I received my bachelor's degree in Music Performance & Pedogogy, from Brigham Young University. I am currently a violist in the Orchestra at Temple Square which performs regularly with the Tabernacle Choir. I have 10 students at this time, (all of whom are my children).
