About Teacher

I started playing piano at age 4 - a Suzuki student! I really feel that starting piano so young gave me a head start on so many things - not only musicality, but math, memorization, work ethic, etc - that I wanted to be a teacher myself. I love to travel to spend time with the Japanese teachers when they come. In 2013 I took my first training in the SECE - Suzuki Early Childhood Education, a class for children ages 0-4 and their parents. I've now taken 90 hours of coursework in teaching SECE and am excited to be offering classes along the Wasatch Front through Hand-in-Hand Music.
